Tamarind polysaccharides

Tamarind polysaccharides are a substance of plant origin. It is a natural polysaccharide polymer obtained from the seeds of Tamarindus indica, an evergreen plant that can grow up to 15 meters high and produces legume fruits. It is very common in India, Africa and throughout the Far East.

Tamarind polysaccharides are considered a green alternative to hyaluronic acid due to the physical and biological similarities of the two substances. They restore hyaluronic acid deficiency occurring in skin due to age-related changes and harmful effects of sunlight (photoaging). Tamarind polysaccharides have powerful moisturising properties due to their ability to attract and retain water molecules. They are suitable for all skin types.
