PROPOLIS EXTRACT

Propolis extract

Propolis, also known as "bee glue", is a complex material, produced by bees through combining their saliva with resin from tree buds, pollen and beeswax. Propolis possesses unparalleled antiseptic properties, which allows the bees to protect the hive from viruses and bacteria.

"Bee glue" consists of about 150 various organic components: vitamins, K, E, A, and B, minerals and microelements, organic acids, essential oils, enzymes, amino acids, and flavonoids. It accelerates healing, possesses anti-inflammatory properties, restores and activates protective and immune functions, cleanses from toxins, has a rejuvenating effect through collagen production stimulation.

When it comes to hair, propolis extract accelerates keratinocyte growth, as those are the cells which strengthen the hair shaft and activate the bulbs.
