Procapil®

Procapil® is a biologically active complex consisting of biotinoyl tripeptide-1, apigenin and oleanolic acid, created for complex treatment for causes of alopecia. It improves the microcirculation in scalp, combats hair follicle ageing and dihydrotestosterone induced atrophy.

Biotinoyl tripeptide-1 is a peptide made of three aminoacids, combining a fragment of collagen, - tripeptide-1 or GHK, - with biotin, a well known additive for hair and nail strengthening.

Apigenin is a bioflavonoid which is contained in multiple fruits, vegetables and herbs, such as parsley, onions, oranges and chamomile. This flavonoid acts as an antioxidant. Research has proven that apigenin stimulates hair growth.

Oleanolic acid is a plant extract contained in olive oil, garlic, cloves, basil etc. It blocks 5a-reductase, which is a ferment responsible for hair fall, stimulates proliferation of hair matrix cells located at the base of the hair follicle.
