Grape juice extract

Grape juice contains 5 AHA acids: tartaric, malic, lactic, citric and glycolic.
Fruit AHA-acids work as gentle exfoliators because they do not destroy but only weaken the bonds between corneous layer cells and accelerate the natural process of cell detachment. They easily penetrate epidermal barrier and apart from exfoliating the skin also combat other issues.
Lactic acid - provides the most delicate peeling-effect, intensely moisturises.
Tartaric acid – improves skin texture, smooths the wrinkles, tightens the facial contours and provides antioxidant action.
Glycolic acid - accelerates new skin cell regeneration, evens out the skin tone, cleans pores.
Citric acid - possesses the ability to whiten the areas of skin that have darkened and restore glowy complexion.
Malic acid - suppresses inflammatory reactions and protects the skin from free radicals.
In cosmetology grape juice extract is mainly used as a peeling and anti-ageing ingredient due to its ability to minimise the appearance of wrinkles and pigment spots, and stimulate skin regeneration. The main advantage of this ingredient is its ability to provide effective and safe peeling with almost no side effects even on sensitive skin.
