FUСUS VESICULOSUS EXTRACT

Fucus vesiculosus extract

Fucus is a sea kelp, sometimes referred to as “sea grape” or “sea oak”. This plant extract contains over 40 micro and macro elements, including iodine, iron, calcium, potassium, silicon, magnesium, selenium, sulfur, zinc, phosphorus, boron, barium, etc., It also contains amino acids, vitamins (A, group B, C, D3, E, K, F, H, PP, C), organic acids (including alginic, folic and pantothenic), fibre, polysaccharides (fucoidan and laminarin), and polyphenols.

Alginic acid stimulates healing of sores and burns, preventing infections developing in damaged tissues. Laminarin strengthens blood vessel walls, improves its immunity and relieves irritated skin. Fucus iodine regulates the metabolism in fatty tissues beneath the skin, breaks down fatty tissue and helps to get rid of them. Fucus iodine contains anti-viral, immune-boosting and antibacterial properties.
