Encapsulated caffeine

Sustained release caffeine is a modern cosmetic ingredient made using the encapsulation technology.

This technology allows caffeine to be delivered to the deepest layers of skin and released gradually, prolonging its effect. This technology is widely used in cosmetic products for facial skin. For example, in eye creams encapsulated caffeine actively impedes appearance of puffy under eyes and dark circles throughout the day.

Caffeine microcapsules are also used in body-care products to obtain a long-term fat burning effect.
