Ingredient name

Chamomile (Matricaria recutita) extract

INCI name

CHAMOMILLA RECUTITA (MATRICARIA) FLOWER EXTRACT

Chamomile extract

Chamomile extract is obtained by extracting biologically active substances from the plant’s flowers. It contacts terpenoids, matricin and bisabolol, which contain anti-inflammatory and sedative properties; linoleic acid (which is essential for cell membranes to function); antioxidants from flavonoids which, combined with Vitamin C, protect the skin from harmful elements in the environment; and polysaccharides which form a protective layer on the skin to prevent moisture loss.

Matricaria chamomilla extract contains anti-inflammatory properties, moderate anti-microbial effects, relives itchiness and softens the skin. It can be used by all skin and hair types and is also suitable for delicate young skin.
