Acetyl tetrapeptide-9

Acetyl tetrapeptide-9 is one of the remodelling peptides, in the form of a water-soluble white powder. Peptides are proteins with very short links of amino acids. They are identical to natural substances produced in the human body.

Peptides have the ability to penetrate into the deeper layers of the skin and give skin cells various commands: regenerate faster, slow down the ageing process, stop hyperpigmentation, etc.

Acetyl tetrapeptide-9 in particular contributes skin matrix strengthening, stimulating the production of lumican and reassembling collagen fibres into correct positions, as they lose their structure with age. As a result of collagen fibre reassembly, skin density and elasticity increases restoring lost facial volume.

Isolated remodelling peptides are recommended for use when the first signs of ageing appear, while there is still enough collagen in the skin. However for mature skin care it is better to use remodelling peptides in tandem with signal peptides.
